Learn more about our Cardinals Program!
Farm, Forest & Homesteading program
for children age 4 to 10
This enrichment program offers children between ages 5 and 10 years old a chance to thoroughly immerse in farm life and develop strong homesteading skills. Through hands on participation around the farm, barns, animals, kitchen, and forest we explore self sufficiency, develop building skills, animal husbandry, food preservation and preparation. We are passionate about learning and teaching where our food comes from, understanding the different techniques and resources available to create a sustainable and healthy future and learning how we may make a positive impact in the environment around us. This program is our signature program offering the fundamentals of farming, gardening, homesteading and sustainability while developing trust, compassion and dedication to the natural world.
Our property is backed up by hundreds of acres of state land, The Bluestone Wild Forest, with beautiful trails where we take nature hikes together and explore the beauty and wonder of the natural world.
The days are always full and fun, and as always we make sure the days flow naturally with the rhythm of the children!
