  • Themed Saturdays on the Farm

    Join us once a month on Saturdays for a delightful day of learning and experiencing life on a homestead! Each month, we’ll explore a unique theme, offering hands-on activities.

    Upcoming Saturdays:

    October 19, 2024: Farm, Foraging, and Fairies – a full day at the farm creating magical habitats for our fairy friends using various foraged supplies and our imagination. A special tea party will conclude the day sharing our creations and delicious homemade treats and teas we prepare from the garden.

    Novemebr 23, 2024: Saturday Farm Cooking Workshop – Come spend a day at the farm and immerse in farm life and develop farm to table culinary skills! We will create various foods and dishes from scratch and delight in creating our own healthy, nutritious and delicious food together!

    Saturdays will be announced from month to month.

  • Winter Break at the farm

    The Winter Break Farm program offers immersive, hands-on farming and homesteading experiences during the winter months. Children engage in a variety of activities: including caring for our farm animals, baking bread, pickling, beeswax projects, and fiber arts, while also enjoying the magic of playing in the snow in the beautiful neighboring Bluestone Wild Forest. This program fosters a deep connection to the land, blending sustainable agricultural practices with creative homesteading projects for a truly enriching experience.

    February 17- 21. Winter Break differs from school to school, contact us and we will do our best to have your child during their Winter Break.

  • Spring Break at the farm

    The Spring Break Farm, Forest & Homesteading program will inspire curiosity, foster a love for animals, and nurture a deep connection with nature. Children will engage in seasonal gardening, learn to care for and welcome new baby animals, and participate in hands-on activities that celebrate the renewal and growth of spring on the farm. This program fosters a deep connection to the land, blending sustainable agricultural practices with creative homesteading projects for a truly enriching experience.

    Spring Break differs from school to school, we will be offering 2 Spring Break Sessions: Apr 8 - 11 and Apr 15-18, 2025. Contact us if your child's school has different breaks.

  • Summer Farm Experience

    Experience summer at Stony Hollow Farm and enjoy a wonderful adventure making special connections and immersing in nature and farm life with friendly farm animals.

    Homesteading, fiber arts, building projects, grooming animals, and gardening, are just some of the activities children engage in here at the homestead.

    Surrounded by the the many magical acres of the Bluestone Wild Forest, we enjoy leisurely hikes, picnics, and getting our feet wet in the cool streams.

We opearte on the sliding scale. If you are able and willing to contribute more, your generosity will be warmly welcomed and deeply appreciated. With your generous contributions, we can extend financial aid to children from families facing economic challenges, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the joy and educational benefits of our program.

Exchange:

Drop-in days: sliding scale of $105-$125/day

Holiday Mondays: sliding scale of $95-$115/day
